FIRM PROFILE + BACKGROUND
Christopher Cawley Landscape Architecture LLC / CCLA is a full service consulting practice with projects located throughout Miami, Miami Beach, and South Florida. Founded in 2005 with the intent of providing high end consulting services for Art Deco and historic renovation projects, CCLA’s current work includes private gardens, estates, boutique hotels, and high rise developments. With over fifteen years of experience, CCLA offers professional services specifically tailored to each individual project. CCLA is fortunate to be assisting many of South Florida’s leading architecture firms and development teams, and CCLA’s boutique office size ensures that all projects are undertaken with care and attention to detail. In addition to professional practice, Chris is also assisting the Bayside Homeowner’s Association with the redesign of the 69th Street corridor, and Chris is currently serving as the Chairman for the Village of Bal Harbour Architectural Review Board.
Originally from Washington DC, Christopher Cawley attended the prestigious School of Environmental Design at the University of Georgia. Upon graduating with a professional degree in landscape architecture, Chris relocated to Miami in 2001 to accept a position with Egs2 Corporation and the Sieger Suarez Architectural Partnership. While with the firm, Chris was fortunate to be involved with some of South Florida’s most high profile projects, including ICON + Murano Grande in South Beach, the Miami Beach Marina Baywalk, and Las Olas River House in Ft. Lauderdale. In 2005, Chris founded Christopher Cawley Landscape Architecture / CCLA, and found immediate success by assisting with several important historic projects, including the Leslie Hotel on Ocean Drive, the Fontana Condominium, and the Vanderbilt. Since that time CCLA has grown into a full service landscape architecture practice with projects ranging in scale from intimate courtyard gardens to high rise and resort development projects.
